+ I tap the link in Twitter and the article opens in Safari.

The Bad.
- Salon banner in Safari directs me to Salon app.
- The Salon app does not direct me to the article.
- The Salon article cannot be found in the Salon app.
- The Salon app contains more intrusive ads than the Salon web page in Safari.

Conclusion.
The Salon app is more than a waste of time, it actively does everything possible to waste your time.
