Did you test this little disaster ? Come on. Nothing loads. Worthless "update"

Silly people dont know to delete and re-download, yet they somehow know to write a stupid and useless review. The app works just fine and is the same Salon-ey goodness if you just delete and re-download.

Not sure why the update of the Salon app killed the program, and why theres no info on the App Store (or within the app) on whats wrong or how to fix it. But simply deleting and reinstalling the app works fine. Salon should be doing a much better job managing this and communicating what and how they screwed up. But at least it DOES work.

Salon has long been my favorite website. The first 40 minutes of my day are spent browsing it in bed before I do anything else. I appreciate all of the writers, different perspectives and Salons attention to detail when it comes to non-political events, such as the passing of Phife. I have dozens of accolades and one critique. Today, I opened the app and the first 7 or 8 headlines had Trumps name in them. Ive often read on Salon about the over-saturated media coverage of Trump and how it fuels his campaign. Even though these articles are constructive and need to be written, its becoming a pattern of nothing but Trump pieces as the first handful of articles I see on the Salon app. Its too much Trump. Please dont fall in line with the rest of the media. Other than that, you guys are amazing. Im thankful Salon and its talented writers exist.

Thank you for your reports. Were aware of the missing content issue, and are working to release a new version of the app with a fix right away. In the meantime, if you delete and re-install the app, it should work correctly.

Hopefully this will help to offset the one-stars. Youre not the only app to get bitten by this bug in App Store submissions. ;)

Some bad moments

The most recent update hasnt worked out, folks. App opens, no content.

Tried the new update, also reinstalled on 2 devices. No change from last week with no content displaying.

Ads make it hard to read articles and you cant close them. Makes the app pointless.

Every time you launch the app, the previous font size setting is gone and you have to go back and redo it. Salon is a news source I enjoy and rely on. Please fix this in the next reiteration. Thank you!

App doesnt load any content. Just seems to be a bunch of placeholder fields. Dont install it!

The app recently updated for iPhones and it no longer loads content. In short, the app no longer works.
